Oral History

An exploration of the institutional and personal history of submarines in Australia through interviews with people connected both directly and indirectly to that history. The program will conduct interviews with submariners, administrators, designers, builders, and family members so that a multi-layered and thematically diverse collection will be established. The collection will enable visitors and researchers to gain a richer understanding of the technical, professional, and social development of the Australian submarine force and the individuals who created it and operate it.
